VOICE WEAVERS

MAY 29th 2016

TO RUSSIA WITH LOVE

.Voice Weavers sing for Sochi!

The Gold Coast’s about-to-be-famous A Cappella choir, Voice Weavers, is preparing for its biggest international performance so far: the 2016 World Choir Games in Sochi, Russia, in July . This will be an even bigger adventure than their trip to Hoi An, Vietnam, in 2013, and to Shanghai, China in 2010. The Games will give the choir the opportunity to perform among the best in the business. As the only Australian choir to be registered in the competition, Voice Weavers will be representing not only the Gold and Tweed Coasts but the whole country on the world stage.

Ahead of the World Choir Games, Voice Weavers are holding a concert at 2pm on Sunday 29 May at the Tweed Heads Civic Centre to raise funds to help the group fly to Sochi for the 11-day event. Voice Weavers have called on the local community to support them at their concert, where entry will be by donation – hopefully, folding money!! There is one show only and no need to book: just arrive in time to buy some yummy goodies at the Voice Weavers Cafe before heading into the show by 2pm.

For more information about Voice Weavers and their upcoming adventure, visit their website at www.voiceweavers.com.au  or send an email to info@voiceweavers.com.au.
